MGF GROUP is located in Marsala, the extreme West point of Sicily. This area has always been the best wine-producing place in Mediterranean. MGF'S mission is the reassessment of the historical local grapes varieties, in order to produce great wines both for the purity and for the blend, together with the best quality/price ratio. The brand is derivated from the first names of the three young partners: Giuseppe Lentini (enoligist), Massimo Pecorella (sales) and Francesco Scavone (enologist). Even if the company is still young, it has its roots in the past century. when the partner's grandfathers started the vineyards in highly fertile areas of Sicily. The vineyards are the business' heart. From the love for the vine started the project of putting into bottle the wines produced from the grapes that Giovanni, Massimo and Francesco (three next-door guys) gathered together by the common passion for the good wine.
Since beginnings, they focused their attention on the vine that has been adapted to the "simple Guyot" cultivation system which allows, by the cut in arched way, to keep just few gems for each stump.

Tra i vitigni cosiddetti autoctoni, oggi di gran moda, c’è da tenere in considerazione il grillo. Un vitigno che ha dato vita al Marsala, e che oggi da origine a vini bianchi di buona armonia e tipicità. La riprova è il vino assaggiato. Dal Nero d’Avola, pur buono, ci aspettiamo di più.
